Mr. Gigante is a registered patent attorney with experience in patent prosecution. Mr. Gigante is associated with the firm as of counsel. Mr. Gigante is former employee of IBM, where he was employed for nearly eleven years in the Field Engineering Division, with six years of experience as an engineer in main-frame computer processors, large system disk and tape drives, telecommunications, assorted peripherals including printers, and their associated software and firmware. The focus of Mr. Gigante’s practice is in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, electromechanical, optical, telecommunication, and information technology, and computer-related arts. His experience includes the preparation of patentability opinions, successful oral argument before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, and the instruction of visiting foreign associates in U.S. patent practices.
Mr. Gigante is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the New York Institute of Technology(1992), cum laude. He received his J.D. degree in 1996 from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he was a senior staff member of the Touro Law Review. Mr. Gigante is admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut bars.
