Cha & Reiter, LLC is active in protecting our clients’ creative expression such as literary, musical, sculptural, pictorial, graphic, and dramatic works; motion pictures, databases, technical and architectural designs, computer software and other audiovisual works. We assist in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of patent and copyright protection to determine the most appropriate way of protecting our clients’ valuable works. We conduct relevant searches and prepare applications for copyright registration; render opinions on infringement, copyrightability, fair use, ownership and title, and notice; draft and negotiate agreements related to copyrighted works; and enforce and defend copyright registrations, including negotiation and preparation of license agreements.
