Mr. Savit is a registered patent attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Savit is associated with the firm as of counsel.
Mr. Savit worked as an antenna engineer for eleven years in the field of RF electronics where he designed and developed antennas, microwave components and electronics for military and weather radar systems.
The focus of Mr. Savit practice is in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, video and audio, power electronics, robotic, telecommunication, medical, information technology, and computer-related arts. His experience includes the preparation of patentability opinions, appeal briefs and argument before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, and performed due diligence, infringement, analysis for patent litigation.
Mr. Savit holds a B.S. degree in electrical Engineering at State University of New York at Buffalo and received a J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law (1993).
